“Our domestic market requires 3,000 tons a year more or less, but of course we now produce much more than 3,000 tons,” Montenegro said.

Bolivia is currently exporting 40 tons of butane gas to São Paulo and volumes are expected to increase by 100 tons in June or July, Barriga said.

Bolivia Aims To Start Production Of Lithium-ion Batteries In 2024

Russian company Rosatom is in charge of the $300 million project.
