MEXICO CITY, MEXICO (Fidencio Casillas, Energy Analytics Institute, 20.Feb.2025) — Under Plan Mexico, president Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo said her government was pursuing a fair energy policy to benefit the country’s citizens, including those in Durango.
“There are communities that do not have access to electricity in Durango and as part of an initiative, CFE director Emilia Calleja and Mexico’s Energy Secretariat Luz Elena González Escobar have plans and projects to address the issues,” Sheinbaum said 20 Feb. 2025 during her mañanera or daily media briefing.
