HOUSTON, TEXAS (By Pietro D. Pitts, Editores Latin Petroleum, 12.Oct.2026, Words: 108) — Venezuela’s state-owned Petróleos de Venezuela, S. A. (PDVSA) expects its year-end 2026 exit production (at 31 Dec. 2026) to reach 1.3 million barrels per day (MMb/d).
Current production remains stable at around 1.24 MMb/d, PDVSA president HĂ©ctor ObregĂłn said on 12 Oct. 2026 during a re-broadcast on national television.
In 2027, ObregĂłn said the company eyes projected sustained growth of 18,000-20,000 barrels per month with an aim on ending the year with production close to 1.5 MMb/d.
