The Andes-Atlantic Corridor is a bilateral cooperation program that anticipates mobilizing up to $7bn in financing for infrastructure, energy, mining, and technology projects.

The initiative seeks to strengthen logistical and energy connectivity between northwestern Argentina, the Vaca Muerta shale formation, the Paraná-Paraguay Waterway, and Atlantic ports through investments in transportation, power grids, pipelines, and digital systems.

According to official sources, Black will arrive in Buenos Aires on 9 Oct. 2026, and meet with economic officials, infrastructure managers, and representatives from the Casa Rosada (the presidential palace) to define the initial initiatives that could be incorporated into the financing scheme promoted by Washington, El DĂa reported on 5 Oct. 2026.

The visit marks start of the new operational phase of the Andes-Atlantic Corridor, officially launched on 23 Sep. 2026 in New York.
