BOGOTA, COLOMBIA (By Ana Sanches, Energy Analytics Institute, 18.Jul.2025, Words: 308) — The Ministry of Infrastructure and Public Services (MISP) inaugurated the first Buenos Aires province renewable energy center. It is located on the technological campus of the Scientific Research Commission (CIC) in the town of Gonnet, La Plata.
The center “is a sustainable infrastructure project that will promote research in strategic areas,” according to minister Katopodis. “The province is betting on the future with its own headquarters to educate, train, and work in sustainable technologies. While [president Javier] Milei cuts back on science and destroys the state, we are putting it at the service of development.”
