(Fidencio Casillas, Energy Analytics Institute, 9.Dec.2024) — Mexico’s inflation came in at 4.55% in Nov. 2024, down sequentially compared to 4.6% in Oct. 2024, according to data published by the government of Mexico.
Mexico’s inflation figure is one of the lowest compared to other OECD countries, the government of the Latin American country revealed on 9 Dec. 2024 in a statement on social media.
The government of Mexico’s president Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo said the previously announced 12% increase in the minimum wage, effective 1 Jan. 2025, would not impact the downward inflation trend.
