IMF head Kristalina Georgieva mets with Delcy Rodríguez during UN Assembly

BATON ROUGE, LOUISIANA (By Steve Stewart, Energy Analytics Institute, 22.Sep.2026, Words: 94) — Venezuela’s interim president Delcy Rodríguez met with International Monetary Fund (IMF) managing director Kristalina Georgieva on the sidelines of the 81st United Nations General Assembly in New York.

Rodríguez and Georgieva discussed resumption of the talks initiated in the technical meeting that both leaders held previously in Caracas, Venezuela’s presidency said on 22 Sep. 2026 in an official statement.
