(Piero Stewart, Energy Analytics Institute, 13.Dec.2024) — This IAPG help its annual lunch on 13 Dec. 2024 in Argentina. The celebration luncheon corresponds to the country’s National Oil Day, an occasion that celebrates the discovery of hydrocarbons in Comodoro Rivadavia (Province of Chubut) on 13 Dec. 1907.
The traditional IAPG lunch has been a mainstay for decades for leaders and executives in the Argentine energy patch.
On this year’s occasion, about 1,200 people were in attendance including Argentina’s new Secretary of Energy María Tettamanti. Attendees also heard from Argentina’s Energy and Mining Secretary of Coordination Daniel González, among others.
