NRGBriefs: Golden Arrow Drilling In Paraguay

(Energy Analytics Institute, 1.Oct.2021) — Energy briefs including Mantaro Silver Corp. changing its name to Mantaro Precious Metals Corp.; Golden Arrow Resources Corp. commencing a diamond drilling program in Paraguay; and more.

Mantaro Silver Corp.‘s (TSXV: MSLV) (FSE: 9TZ) BOD approved a change of the co.’s name to Mantaro Precious Metals Corp. The name change is to better reflect the co.’s diversified portfolio of gold assets in Bolivia and silver assets in Peru.

Mantaro Silver Corp. is focused on the drill-ready, high grade, orogenic gold deposit at the Golden Hill Property. An experienced field team is now onsite and focused on advancing known mineralization at La Escharcha Mine. The team is also conducting a concession-wide reconnaissance w/ a focus on over 6km of regional structures w/ gold alluvials.

Golden Arrow Resources Corp. (TSXV: GRG) (FSE: G6A) (OTCQB: GARWF) started a diamond drilling program of up to approximately 2,000m at the Tierra Dorada gold project. The program is mainly focused on follow-up drilling to better define the high-grade Alvaro target, in addition to several initial holes to test the Itayuru target, located approximately 10km SW of Alvaro, for the first time. The first drill campaign at Alvaro hit near-surface high-grade gold, including: 143.5 g/t gold over 0.5m, within 6m averaging 14.5 g/t gold at 3-9m depth and 11.8 g/t gold over 3.16m, within 7.75m averaging 6.1 g/t gold at 1.70-9.35m depth.

Mantaro Silver Corp. has a very experienced field team sampling and mapping new vein extensions at the Santas Gloria Silver Property. Mantaro was recently awarded its second archaeology area approval (CIRA) — which further strengthens its ongoing drill permitting process, the co. said in an official stmt. Once mapping and sampling of vein extensions at Santas Gloria Silver Property are concluded, the Mantaro field will return to reconnaissance mapping of the high-grade San Jose Silver Project.
