SIMFLO announces award of infrastructure project in El Salvador

BATON ROUGE, LOUISIANA (By Steve Stewart, Energy Analytics Institute, 14.Oct.2026, Words: 203) — SIMFLO announced award of a major municipal project in Central America to supply water infrastructure to multiple cities.

The project involves supplying high-efficiency vertical turbine pump bowl assemblies to support well construction and scheduled municipal water system maintenance across El Salvador, the Lubbock, Texas-based company announced on 14 Oct. 2026 in an official statement.

The equipment is being distributed across all 4 key geographic regions of the country — including the Western (Zona Occidental), Central, Eastern (Zona Oriental), and San Salvador Metropolitan regions — delivering vital municipal water services across various departments.

“To meet specific well requirements, SIMFLO provided 1800 RPM vertical turbine models equipped with stainless steel impellers and conical strainers engineered for well diameters ranging from 10 to 14 inches. SIMFLO worked alongside its local distributor and end users to deliver custom technical support, prompt quotes, and fast delivery timelines,” the company said. “By providing on-site technical presentations and direct engineering support, SIMFLO addressed the region’s long-standing challenges of long lead times and limited-service options from legacy suppliers.”
