PETROBRAS boasts cumulative subsidy payments of R$ 6.9bn to date

BOGOTÁ, COLOMBIA (By Ana Sanches, Editores Latin Petroleum, 14.Aug.2026, Words: 146) — To date, the cumulative total received by PETROBRAS, including additional installment payments in Aug. 2026 under Brazil’s gasoline and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) economic subvention program, amounts to approximately R$6.9bn.

This, after the state-owned company received additional amounts under the provisional measures no. 1,358 and 1,349, the company announced on 14 Aug. 2026 in an official statement.
