This commission will be focused on the strategic analysis of national and international trends, conditions, and perspectives in the hydrocarbon industry, with the aim of issuing opinions and recommendations to support decision-making, the head of the state oil giant said on 18 Mar. 2026 during an event broadcast on Mexican television from Pueblo Viejo, Veracruz on the 88th anniversary of the oil expropriation.
