BATON ROUGE, LOUISIANA (By Pietro D. Pitts, Energy Analytics Institute, 19.Feb.2026, Words: 260) — Venezuela’s interim president Delcy Rodríguez received the Amnesty Law for National Reconciliation, Democratic Coexistence, and Peace from a special commission of the National Assembly (AN).
At the event held on the evening of 19 Feb. 2026, the Interim president stated the legal instrument seeks to “address the wounds caused by the political violence that has affected Venezuela since 1999.”
