Pemex says CASES has trained 134,338 workers in safety and survival techniques

MEXICO CITY, MEXICO (By Fidencio Casillas, Energy Analytics Institute, 1.Aug.2025, Words: 189) — State-owned Petróleos Mexicanos (Pemex), through its Training Center in Safety, Ecology and Survival (CASES), has trained a total of 134,338 workers in safety, survival at sea and firefighting techniques.

Since its foundation on 1 Aug. 2004, CASES has taught more than 7,675 theoretical-practical training courses, with the aim of strengthening the culture of industrial protection in compliance with the Pemex system in terms of Safety, Occupational Health and Environmental Protection (SSTPA), to achieve the goal of zero accidents in land and offshore facilities in the marine region.
