MEXICO CITY, MEXICO (By Fidencio Casillas, Energy Analytics Institute, 12.Feb.2026, Words: 224) —Mexico’s undersecretary of Foreign Affairs María Teresa Mercado Pérez and the undersecretary of Industry and commerce of the Ministry of Economy Vidal Llerenas Morales conducted a working visit to Beijing, China, from 8-10 Feb. 2026, with the objective of deepening bilateral political and economic dialogue.
The undersecretaries held working meetings with their counterparts at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Commerce of China, in order to continue the high-level bilateral dialogue and strengthen cooperation in areas of common interest.
