Bolivia Gets 454 Domestic Gas Installations In Mizque

(Energy Analytics Institute, 20.Dec.2020) — Bolivia’s Hydrocarbons and Energy Ministry with assistance from state oil and gas company Yacimientos Petrolifos Fiscales Bolivianos (YPFB) completed the installation and connection of 454 residences to the country’s gas network in the municipality of Mizque in the department of Cochabamba.

“We want gas to be used to activate the industrialization of Mizque so that it can produce and export wine and other fruit derivatives,” reported Bolivia’s Ministry of Hydrocarbons and Energy said in an official statement, citing ministry head Franklin Molina Ortiz.

YPFB aims to achieve 12,000 new gas installation and connections by the end of 2020.
