HOUSTON, TEXAS (By Pietro D. Pitts, Editores Latin Petroleum, 12.Oct.2026, Words: 121) — The reform of the Organic Hydrocarbons Law in Feb. 2026 was a positive step forward for the Venezuelan energy sector.

Said reform made it possible to institutionalize the new contracts and include international arbitration to provide greater legal security.
These changes are part of the plan to attract private capital and provide the energy sector with a solid and reliable regulatory framework.
