BOGOTÁ, COLOMBIA (By Ana Sanches, Editores Latin Petroleum, 1.Sep.2026, Words: 174) — Southern Energy (SESA) confirmed an investment of over $15bn to export liquefied natural gas (LNG) over 20 years of operation of 2 floating liquefaction vessels to be installed in the Gulf of San Matías, in the province of Río Negro. 

SESA expects to achieve exports of over $20bn between the start of operations in 2027 and 2035, according to details as of 1 Sep. 2026 on the company’s website.
