MEXICO CITY, MEXICO (By Fidencio Casillas, Energy Analytics Institute, 17.Aug.2025, Words: 211) — State-owned Petróleos Mexicanos (Pemex) remains steadfast in its response that there is no shortage of gasoline in certain regions of Mexico and that supply is guaranteed, especially in Mexico City and surrounding vicinities.
Pemex said incidents at petrol stations recorded last week in Nuevo León, Chiapas and in the Valley of Mexico, were due to adjustments in maintenance, which have already been completely resolved, Pemex announced on 17 Aug. 2025 in an official statement.
