BOGOTÁ, COLOMBIA (By Ana Sanches, Editores Latin Petroleum, 24.Oct.2026, Words: ) — Quintana is beginning a new drilling campaign in the Aguada Bandera Anticline area, as part of the commitments made in the extension agreement signed in 2024.

The campaign includes the drilling of 4 wells, primarily targeting the Bajo Barreal formation.
Additionally, some of these wells will provide information on the D-129 formation, contributing new data for its evaluation, the Ministry of Energy and Mining of Santa Cruz reported on 24 Oct. 2026.
As part of the ongoing program, Quintana plans to begin a second drilling campaign between Jan.-Feb. 2027, specifically targeting the D-129 formation with unconventional resources.
For this phase, Quintana plans to incorporate a larger capacity drilling rig, suitable for reaching greater depths.
Investment: 2024-2035
These activities are part of the committed work plan established in the extension agreement, which includes an estimated investment of $39.4mn between 2024-2035.
