For her part during her address on 24 Sep. 2026 to the United Nations General Assembly, Venezuela’s interim president Delcy Rodríguez reaffirmed her commitment to peace and dialogue as methods for resolving international conflicts.
Rodríguez emphasized Venezuela rejects violence and advocates for understanding among nations. She mentioned her experience in the political arena, having held various roles, and underscored the importance of national representation in the current debate.
During her address, she emphasized the principles of Venezuelan foreign policy and the need to maintain diplomatic channels. She also stressed Venezuela adheres to peace and prefers dialogue to conflict.
Furthermore, Rodríguez expressed deep solidarity with the populations currently suffering the consequences of armed conflicts in different regions of the world.
