B.B Energy Wins Bid To Import Naphtha Ron 80

(Energy Analytics Institute, 27.Nov.2020) — Ecuador’s state entity EP PetroEcuador awarded B.B Energy (Asia) PTE. LTD. a deal for the importation of 1,180,000 barrels of naphtha ron 80.

B.B Energy won the deal with a differential of plus $1.18 per barrel.

Approximately 44 qualified companies were invited to participate in the bid process, PetroEcuador announced 27 November 2020 in an official statement.

Six offers were presented from Arkham S.A., B.B Energy (Asia) PTE. LTD., Lukoil Pan Americas LLC, Petróleos del Perú-Petroperú S.A., Trafigura PTE. LTD. and Vitol INC.

According to bid process terms and conditions, the volume offered will be imported in four shipments of 295,000 barrels +/- 2% each. The first delivery is slated to arrive to Ecuador between 3-5 December 2020 and with estimated delivery until March 2021.

The importation of naphtha ron 80 will be governed by the Platts unleaded 87 pipeline market prompt for the US Gulf Coast.
