This agreement — with the aim of reinforcing the protection of the country’s strategic infrastructure and directly combating clandestine tapping — will allow for the operational support of the national police of Ecuador to guarantee the integrity of hydrocarbon facilities, thus ensuring the continuity of fuel supplies nationwide, the company said on 3 Mar. 2026 in an official statement.
