PANAMA CITY, PANAMA (By Piero Stewart, Energy Analytics Institute, 26.Jun.2025, Words: 278) — Within the framework of processes related to deregulation and simplification of matters within the Argentine state, the Secretariat of Energy of the Argentine Ministry of Economy issued a new rule that eliminates obsolete and bureaucratic regulations for storing liquid hydrocarbons in air tanks.
Resolution 277/2025 repeals the regime created in 2005 and replaces the old system of forms, the Secretariat of Energy announced on 26 Jun. 2025 in an official statement. The entity said this was necessary owing to “unnecessary audits and overlapping controls with an agile, transparent and efficient scheme.”
