(Energy Analytics Institute, Aaron Simonsky, 27.Jun.2019) — Techint Group’s Argentine affiliate Tecpetrol plans to inaugurate a new office in Neuquén by April 2020.

“We hope to inaugurate the building next year, and probably sometime during the first four months of the year,” reported online media Río Negro, citing Tecpetrol CEO and President Carlos Ormachea.

The office, to be located in the Argentine region known for its production from the Vaca Muerta shale formation, will serve as the company’s headquarters in the region.

“It’s a sign of the group’s commitment to the development of the Neuquén Basin. It’s a long-term commitment,” Ormachea said.
