Harbour’s EVP Baquero says Kan field offshore Mexico holds 500+ MMbbls in situ

MEXICO CITY, MEXICO (By Fidencio Casillas, Energy Analytics Institute, 13.May.2025, Words: 218) — Harbour Energy, which is active in the Hokchi, Ogarrio, and Zama fields in Mexico, announced that exploration at the Kan field, discovered in 2023, has proved the presence of over 500 million barrels of oil (MMbbls) in situ.

Harbour holds a 70% interest in Kan and serves as operator.
