(Energy Analytics Institute, 26.Aug.2024) — Mexico’s President Andrés Manuel López Obrador said that the reality is that the economic integration between Mexico, U.S. and Canada was is so important that it was impossible to break it.

López Obrador, also known as AMLO, made the statements on 26 Aug. 2024 during his daily presser with the media, referring to international trade between the three countries.

AMLO said economic integration among the three countries was important and necessary for commerce reasons that allow each of the three countries to grow economically.

“There is nothing rational that would lead to a break in relations,” AMLO said. “Things have gone well and will continue to go well, but there continues to exist an inertia to not respect the independence and sovereignty of the people.”
