Petrobras and Enarsa Ink MOU for Natural Gas Studies

(Energy Analytics Institute, 25.Apr.2024) — On 18 Apr. 2024, Petrobras inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Argentina state energy company Enarsa to study partnerships in the natural gas segment.

“The non-binding agreement has a term of three years and will allow for the exchange of information; the assessment of alternatives for cooperation and energy complementarity between the two companies; as well as the coordination of actions to better guarantee the supply of natural gas to Argentina during the winter, the period of greatest demand in that country, without any impact on gas supplies in Brazil or additional financial cost for Petrobras,” the Brazilian state energy giant announced 25 Apr. in an official statement.
