(Energy Analytics Institute, 11.Apr.2022) — Bolivia’s state oil entity YPFB initiated the commercialization of gasoline plus in Oruro at the “Morela” and “QV2” service stations.

“We currently have 20 urban and 15 provincial service stations in the department of Oruro, the 35 pumps will gradually cover the population’s need with more than 500,000 liters per day of special plus gasoline,” YPFB reported 11 April 2022 in an official statement on its website, citing Gilmar Cruz Villca, also with the company.

The gasoline “improves the performance of vehicles, has a higher-octane rating and is friendly to the environment,” Cruz said, adding “these are the benefits of Special Gasoline Plus (GE+).”

The price of the fuel is marked at 3.74 bolivianos per liter, YPFB Commercialization Manager Félix Abraham Cruz Taca confirmed in the same statement.
