YPF Spuds Two Wells in Aguada del Chañar

(Energy Analytics Institute, 19.Jan.2022) — Argentina’s state owned YPF combined drilling operations at two wells in late December 2021 in the Aguada del Chañar area.

The first well, Adch 1001, has a horizontal branch length of 2,448m and 38 fracture stages. The second well, Adch 1002, has a horizontal branch length of 2,434m and 38 fracture stages, Argentina’s Energy and Natural Resources Ministry announced 19 January 2022 over Twitter.

In December 2021 the wells produced 830 barrels per day and 859 barrels per day, respectively, the ministry said.
