(Energy Analytics Institute, 22.Mar.2021) — Argentina’s Neuquén province produced 178,349 barrels per day of oil in February 2021, up 3.22% sequentially and up 6.91% compared to February 2020.

Approximately 80% of the production in February came from the Vaca Muerta formation, Neuquén governor Omar Gutiérrez said 22 March 2021 in a statement published by the Neuquén province’s ministry of energy and natural resources.

“We are going to continue working to achieve more national and foreign investment; more internal and external market, and more generation of private investment, generating employment and more work,” Gutiérrez said.
