(Energy Analytics Institute, 9.Nov.2020) — Peru’s President Martín Vizcarra was impeached over the weekend after a vote over corruption allegations.
Manuel Merino, the head of Peru’s Congress, will assume the presidency until July 2021, the period in which Vizcarra’s presidential term was set to expire, according to local reports in Peru.
