National Hydrocarbon Plan Aims To Rescue Petróleos Mexicanos

(Energy Analytics Institute, Jared Yamin, 15.Dec.2018) — With the intervention of the Mexican government the most important company in the country will be rescued so that it becomes, once again, the great lever of national development, announced Petróleos Mexicanos General Director Ing. Octavio Romero Oropeza in an official statement from the state oil company.

“The country’s energy security and sovereignty will be guaranteed, since with this strategy average production is intended to reach 2,480 thousand barrels per day of crude oil at the end of this administration,” announced Romero during the presentation of Mexico’s new National Hydrocarbon Production Plan in Ciudad del Carmen, Campeche.
