The information was published by Venezuela’s interim president Delcy Rodríguez via her official social media channels. There, she explained this level of energy demand is primarily associated with high temperatures.
“I reiterate the call to join forces and use energy responsibly to mitigate, together, the effects of super Niño. Let us continue working together and never give up,” Rodríguez said.
