(Aaron Simonsky, Energy Analytics Institute, 13.Jan.2025) — Rio de Janeiro-based Petrobras said it is still analyzing with Unigel contracts associated with the fertilizer plants – FAFENs, signed in Oct. 2024 with Proquigel, a subsidiary of Unigel.
Under Petrobras’ 2025-2029 Business Plan, the company aims to continue with fertilizer investments with an aim on capturing value with the production and sale of nitrogen products, reconciling with the oil and natural gas production chain and the energy transition, the company said 13 Jan. 2025 in an official statement.
