OXY reveals CEO succession, replacement to succeed Vicki Hollub

HOUSTON, TEXAS (Ofelia Paredes, Energy Analytics Institute, 1.May.2026, Words: 115) — The board of directors of Houston-based Occidental (OXY) named senior vice president and chief operating officer Richard Jackson to succeed Vicki Hollub as president and chief executive officer upon her retirement. 

Jackson will join the board, effective 1 Jun.

Hollub is set to retire effective 1 Jun. 2026, OXY announced on 1 May 2026 in an official statement. 

Hollub — who has served as CEO since 2016 and has been a board member since 2015 — will continue to serve on the company’s board, “ensuring continuity and ongoing strategic guidance,” according to OXY.
