Trump not likely to extend validity of USMCA to 16 years

If the US, Mexico, and Canada fail to reach an agreement on the proposed modifications to the treaty, the USMCA will remain under a period of annual reviews for the next decade, until it formally expires on 1 Jul. 2036.
