YPFB says civil works for Mayaya Centro – X2 well register 66% progress

BOGOTA, COLOMBIA (By Ana Sanches, Energy Analytics Institute, 8.Oct.2025, Words: 360) — Construction of the platform and the road to access the drilling site of the Mayaya Centro – X2 (MYC-X2) well, located in the Lliquimuni Area, is 66% complete, according to Yacimientos Petrolíferos Fiscales Bolivianos (YPFB).

Once the access road and platform construction are complete, the state oil company’s operational staff will transport and assemble the 2,000 HP (horsepower) YPFB 02 drilling rig, before spudding the well, according to YPFB civil works supervisor Justino Robles Segovia.
