YPF inks MOU with Tierra del Fuego province and Terra Ignis for 7 conventional areas

SALVADOR DE BAHIA, BRAZIL (By Pedro Silva, Energy Analytics Institute, 19.Aug.2025, Words: 239) — Argentina’s YPF SA and the government of the Tierra del Fuego have taken a first step related to the transfer of conventional oil and gas areas from the state-owned company.

This, as Tierra del Fuego govenor Gustavo Melella and YPF president and CEO Horacio Marín signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to advance the transfer of 7 conventional areas that the company operates in the province: Los Chorrillos, Lago Fuego and Tierra del Fuego Fracción A, B, C, D and E.
