PANAMA CITY, PANAMA (Piero Stewart, Energy Analytics Institute, 29.May.2025, Words: 729) — Officials from Trinidad and Tobago’s Ministry of Energy and Energy Industries (MEEI), headed by Roodal Moonilal and Ernesto Kesar, meet with executives from bpTT, Perenco and Woodside Energy to discuss issues around the 3 companies commitments and plans.
At separate meetings on 27 May 2025 held at the MEEI’ International Waterfront Complex, Head Office, Port-of-Spain, Moonilal highlighted the energy sector vision of the twin-island country as it aims for the re-emergence of Trinidad as the energy capital of the region in addition to working with stakeholders to increase production of the country’s hydrocarbon resources, the MEEI said on 29 May 2025 in separate statements.
