PANAMA CITY, PANAMA (Piero Stewart, Energy Analytics Institute, 7.May.2025, Words: 432) — Colombia’s state-owned Ecopetrol SA reported hydrocarbon production of 745,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day (boe/d) in the first-quarter 2025 (1Q:25). The volumes are within the goal set for the year despite the events in the local environment, according to Ecopetrol president Ricardo Roa Barragán.
During the 1Q:25, transported volumes stood at 1,092,000 b/d and refining throughputs at 396,000 b/d, despite the scheduled maintenance at the Barrancabermeja refinery, operational and environmental events.
