ATLANTA, GEORGIA (Chad Archey, Energy Analytics Institute, 23.Apr.2025) — Australia’s Woodside Energy reported production of 49.1 million barrels of oil equivalent (MMboe) or 546,000 boe/d in first-quarter 2025 (1Q:25), down 4% sequentially compared to 4Q:24. Lower production was due to weather impacts at the North West Shelf (NWS) project and unplanned outages at Pluto LNG, which was partially offset by higher production at Shenzi and Atlantis in the US Gulf region.
Year-over-year, production in 1Q:25 was up 9% compared to the 1Q:24 due to the addition of Sangomar production offshore Senegal.
