Woodside Energy Executives Meet with MEEI Officials

(Energy Analytics Institute, 26.Sep.2024) — Executives with Woodside Energy provided an update to officials with the Trinidad and Tobago Ministry of Energy and Energy Industries (MEEI) regarding the Australian company’s Calypso project offshore.

The ‘pre-feed’ engineering work is progressing, the MEEI said 26 Sep. 2024 in an official statement, citing Woodside Country Manager Trinidad and Tobago Mrs. Kellyanne Lochan.

Woodside executives also updated the MEEI officials on the improved operations at Woodside’s Angostura facility after its successful turnaround.

Regarding energy security and navigating the energy transition, Woodside continues to engage with the National Gas Company on innovative ways to increase natural gas production, the MEEI said.
