PANAMA CITY, PANAMA (Piero Stewart, Energy Analytics Institute, 24.Mar.2025) — Suriname’s Staatsolie Maatschappij Suriname N.V. issued a new bond for $515.8mn on 23 Mar. 2025. This amount was $211.7mn more than the $304.1mn that was targeted.
In total, the Staatsolie Bond 2025-2033 raised $468.745.200mn and €43,485,100 (equivalent to $47,081,317). Staatsolie awarded all of the subscriptions, the company announced on 24 Mar. 2025 in an official statement.
In doing so, the company has made use of its right to enter the Block 58 development with APA Corporation and TotalEnergies.
