(Petrobras, 12.Dec.2022) — Petrobras informs that, after an audit carried out by the National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas, and Biofuels (ANP), it received, on 12 December 2022, an interdiction notice for the shutdown of operations in 37 onshore oil and gas production facilities in Bahia.

The company is taking the necessary measures for the safe shutdown of its facilities and reinforces that it conducts its operations in accordance with the strictest international standards of safety, health, and respect for the environment.

As per the release disclosed on 3 November 2022, Petrobras also informs that the divestment process of the Bahia Terra Cluster is in the negotiation phase with the consortium of companies Petrorecôncavo and Eneva.
