— The largest decrease in regional LNG exports was seen in LatAm, which saw both of its two exporting markets, Trinidad and Tobago and Peru, reduce exports by 3.9 MTPA and 1.2 MTPA, respectively. “Trinidad and Tobago has continued on a downtrend in LNG exports owing to domestic gas shortages, while Peru has been struggling w/ operational issues at its Peru LNG T1 facility being shut down for over 80 days during the first 9-mths of 2021,” the International Gas Union (IGU) said in its recent 2022 World LNG Report.
