MEXICO CITY, MEXICO (Fidencio Casillas, Energy Analytics Institute, 17.Jan.2025) — The head of state-owned Petróleos Mexicanos (Pemex) Rodríguez Padilla said oil exploration is a fundamental process and the backbone of the global energy industry.
“Without exploration there would be no discoveries, and without discoveries there is no production, and without production there is no energy to feed nations, to grow economies, or to promote technological and social progress,” Padilla said on 17 Jan. 2025 during an event at the Palacio de Minería in Mexico City, Mexico.
