YPF Reports Higher Production, Revenues and Operating Profit

(Energy Analytics Institute, 20.Apr.2022) — Argentina’s state-owned oil giant YPF Sociedad Anónima reported total production of 470 thousand equivalent barrels per day (Mboe/d) in 2021, up 1% versus 467 Mboe/d in 2020.

In 2021, YPF produced 211 Mb/d of oil, 34 Mb/d of NGLs and 1,260 million cubic feet per day (MMcf/d) of natural gas or combined production of 470 Mboe/d. This compares to production in 2020 of 207 Mb/d of oil, 37 Mb/d of NGLs and 1,256 MMcf/d of natural gas or combined production of 467 Mboe/d, the Buenos Aires-based company announced last week in its Form 20-F.

In 2021, YPF also reported rises in revenues from the upstream, gas and power and downstream sectors versus the prior year as well as operating profit versus a net loss respectively.
