(Petrobras, 4.Apr.2022) — Petrobras, following up on the release disclosed on 12/14/2020, informs that its Executive Board has approved the end of the competitive process, which was in the non-binding phase, for the sale of 50% of its stake in the Marlim, Voador, Marlim Leste and Marlim Sul concessions, jointly denominated Marlim Cluster, predominantly located in deep waters in the Campos Basin.

Petrobras constantly evaluates its portfolio and, considering the alignment of the concessions to the company’s strategy and the improvement of its economic and financial indicators, the Marlim Cluster was kept fully in the portfolio, and its production has already been incorporated in the 2022-26 Strategic Plan horizon.

Petrobras reinforces its commitment to the comprehensive transparency of its divestment projects and portfolio management and affirms its focus on deepwater and ultra-deepwater assets, where it has shown great competitive edge over the years, with high productivity and lower greenhouse gas emissions.
