Petrobras On Record S-10 Diesel Sales

Immediate Frontier

(Petrobras, 13.May.2021) — Petrobras reports that in April it registered total diesel sales of around 824,000 bpd, representing 59% growth in comparison with sales in April 2020. In the comparison with April 2019, without the impacts on demand resulting from the pandemic, there was a growth of 12%.

Also in April 2021, Petrobras exceeded the record sales of low-sulfur S-10 Diesel, reaching the 437,000 bpd mark. This figure exceeds the previous record of 418,000 bpd, set in March 2021, by 4.4%.

The record sales of S-10 Diesel and the growth in total diesel sales reflect the company’s successful efforts to expand the supply of the lower sulfur content product, replacing the S-500 Diesel, and also the commercial and operational actions implemented in order to mitigate the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic on fuel demand.
